A former Sri Lankan resident drowned in Taupo New Zealand last Evening.
The father of two children came to New Zealand in 2007 for better future was on holiday with his family when the incident happened around 6pm yesterday.
According to police the incident happened at Two Mile Bay and several attempts were made to revive the person which were unsuccessful.
